Join Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy volunteers to check on some of the plantings and areas we have been working on and then we will focus our work on removing some invasive stilt-grass. Stiltgrass is easy to pull out and bag. Bring water and gloves. Wear long pants and sleeves (for tick and poison ivy protection). All activities are weather permitting. Meet at the Beadling Road entrance to Bird Park. Note parking may be limited due to other events at the Park so remember to give yourself enough time to find parking.

Bird Park is a beautiful spot, uniquely equipped for both active and passive recreation. A stream, trails and peaceful wooded surroundings belie the proximity to urban life.
