Due to the overwhelming popularity of this event, we have almost reached our capacity of 50 participants. Note that a few more slots have opened up but if you are too late, please send an email to Lebonature@gmail.com and ask that you be added to a wait list. If we have some cancellations, we will contact you. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Do you know where maple syrup comes from? Join the Mt Lebanon Nature Conservancy at Bird Park Fire Circle to learn more! Find out why trees produce sap and how people collect sap to convert into syrup. We will tap a tree in the park and taste the sap. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes as we will hike on trails, which may be icy or muddy.
All ages are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required for all participants. Please cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend. Please see our website for information (lebonature.org) or e-mail lebonature@gmail.com with questions.
Join us at 2 p.m. at the Bird Park Fire Circle
