Did you know that our municipality is accredited as an Arboretum?  Join us to learn more about the trees in our parks, and their importance in maintaining the ecology and character of the community.  This family-friendly event is organized by the Mt Lebanon Nature Conservancy in conjunction with the Parks Advisory Board.

• Guided walking tours of Bird Park, including our most recent project area

• Hands-on nature activities for children

• Cider, donuts and apples!

• Learn about native trees and shrubs, and the invasive species that can impact local forests

• Meet members of local organizations, including the Parks Advisory Board, dedicated to preserving green spaces and learn how neighbors can get involved

• The event is free and no registration is required.
