Green Reads Book Group

  • Mt Lebanon Library Meeting Room B (map)

Join the Green Reads Book Group for a lively discussion of books related to nature, conservation and environmental action.

The Green Reads book group meets four times a year (February, May, August, November). The group discussion will be facilitated by Conservancy members. Books will be available on loan from the Mt Lebanon Public Library. Here are the details on February's Book:

"Wild at Heart" by Alice Outwater

Nature on the brink? Maybe not. With so much bad news in the world, we forget how much environmental progress has been made. In a narrative that reaches from Native American tribal practices to public health and commercial hunting, Wild at Heart shows how western attitudes towards nature have changed dramatically in the last five hundred years.

Please click on the button to sign up. Haven't finished reading the book? No problem, join us for a lively discussion and learn from other book group members. Please register here for the February book group.
