Do you know where maple syrup comes from? Join the Mt Lebanon Nature Conservancy at Bird Park Fire Circle to learn more! We will walk through the woods of Bird Park, identify maple trees, and tap one to see the sap flow. You’ll learn why the sap flows, the perfect time of year to tap the trees, and how the process can be done without damaging the tree.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes as we will hike on trails, which may be icy or muddy.
