Plant Description: This upright clumping plant produces showy cushions of pink flowers in June and July. Grows to 3-4' tall and 2' wide. Lance-shaped foliage grows to 4-5" long. This wants to be in your raingarden, the bottom of a wall, a swale or other moist locations.

Planting Instructions: Full sun to part sun. Prefers steady moisture and can tolerate inundation, but can function also in well-drained soils. Blooming time and intensity will be less in part shade. Attracts pollinating insects including butterfly, skipper, fly, wasp and bee species, and is crucial to the Monarch butterfly. Deer resistant. Note: Mildly toxic to humans and animals (stomach upset if eaten, possible contact dermatisis from sap).
