A clump-forming perennial that spreads by runners (stolons) to form dense, 12'-wide mounds of bright green foliage. A cloud of white "foamy" flowers rises to 9-12" height in spring. Part shade to full shade. Prefers rich, moisture-holding soils. Soil should not be allowed to dry out; however, soggy-wet soils, particularly in winter, may kill the plant.
